I am an avid naturalist: I have through hiked the Appalachian Trail as well as section hiked the Continental Divide trail. While I am here in Klamath Falls, I plan to section hike the Pacific Crest Trail. My purpose to hiking is mainly to understand the continent we call America and to know, first hand, the condition that it is in. Walking through the woods with only a backpack can be a liberating and healing experience as well.
